    Job Title: Facilities Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to perform a variety of tasks including preventive maintenance and repair of building and grounds in designated areas. The ideal candidate will maintain a friendly and efficient customer service demeanor while being adaptable to customer needs.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain a positive customer service attitude towards customers, clients, and co-workers.

    + Perform repairs on various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, and office equipment.

    + Inspect assigned areas routinely and perform necessary maintenance to ensure the facility remains in good condition.

    + Complete daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures.

    + Report major maintenance needs and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

    + Demonstrate efficient and safe use of equipment and tools.

    + Commit to professional growth and competence through adherence to training commitments.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in plumbing and carpentry.

    + 6+ months of building maintenance experience within apartment complexes or hotels.

    + Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a daily basis.

    + Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and email.

    + Customer service experience in previous roles.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with HVAC, electrical systems, painting, lighting, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.

    Work Environment

     

    The work shifts are from 9:30AM to 6PM, Friday to Tuesday, and 11:00AM to 8:30PM, Wednesday to Sunday, with shifts subject to change based on the needs of the hotel. The role is based at a hotel in San Francisco, CA, and does not require entering occupied hotel rooms.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Francisco, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
