Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled General Production Worker to design and develop tools, jigs, and fixtures used in production. This role requires the ability to study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, as well as the sequence of operations and setup requirements.

Responsibilities

+ Design and develop tools, jigs, and fixtures for production.

+ Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces.

+ Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on materials or workpieces as guides for subsequent machining.

+ Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production, assembly, general labor, and machine operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or general education degree.

Work Environment

Work involves operating machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers. The role may require standing for extended periods and handling materials. Dress code is typically casual but safety gear may be required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Monroe City, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00/hr.
