    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Paint Technician to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. The role involves a variety of tasks including preparing surfaces, mixing and applying coatings, and ensuring quality finishes. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality work.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in moving parts within the paint area.

    + Remove grease, oils, and other contaminants from metals before treatment.

    + Follow blueprints accurately.

    + Mix and apply coatings to specified standards.

    + Sand and mask metals for painting.

    + Complete required documentation of daily activities.

    + Maintain inventory levels.

    + Operate hoists, cranes, riggings, dollies, and forklifts safely.

    + Perform routine maintenance.

    + Adhere to safety procedures consistently.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with spray and coating techniques.

    + Ability to work 45-55 hours per week.

    + Comfortable with bending and crawling around parts.

    + Proficient in wearing proper PPE including full face shields and respirators.

    + Experience with blueprints.

    + Basic math skills.

    + Experience with pressure pot spray equipment.

    + Proficient spray gun technique.

    + Strong decision-making skills for spray application.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience painting, especially with spray guns.

    + Willingness to learn and adapt to different roles and skills.

    + Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment includes a 1st shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm. Employees are required to wear steel toe boots and proper PPE such as full face shields and respirators. The role involves physical activities such as bending and crawling, and the use of equipment like spray guns, hoists, and forklifts.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
