Job Title: Field Service Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Mechanic to perform rigging, service, installation, and repairs on motors and rotating equipment. The role involves working in the field, adhering to safety processes, and completing job documentation accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will have the capability to work alone, as a crew member, or as a crew leader, and should be able to troubleshoot and repair various types of industrial equipment.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience working with industrial motors or automotive/diesel transmissions and motors.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical mechanical rotating equipment.
+ Proficient in rigging, welding, mechanical installation, and repair/service.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints/electrical schematics.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Understanding of operational and safety procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Trade school, vocational/technical school, military, or on-the-job technician training and/or certifications preferred.
+ Field balancing ability is highly preferred.
+ Experience with HVAC, generator, and industrial mechanics is beneficial.
+ Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $66560.00/yr.
