    Job Title: Machine Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking skilled Production Machine Operators to join our team. You will be responsible for loading and unloading sheet metal to and from various machines including punch, hydraulic, and brake presses. You will work off blueprints and utilize measuring tools like tape measures, micrometers, and calipers. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day.

    Responsibilities

    + Load and unload sheet metal to and from different machines: punch, hydraulic, and brake presses.

    + Work off of blueprints.

    + Use measuring tools such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.

    + Lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day.

    + Set up machines and deal with tooling for punch, hydraulic, and brake presses.

    + Edit programs at the machine.

    + Perform preventative maintenance on machines.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to read and work from blueprints.

    + Proficiency with measuring tools: tape measure, micrometer, and calipers.

    + At least 1 year of experience running a machine within metal manufacturing.

    + Experience with press brake, punch press, machine setup, and machine operation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Background in shop math.

    + Experience with fabrication and CNC operations.

    + Experience with brake, punch, hydraulic press, laser, turret, and CNC machines is preferred.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment includes a large facility where you will work in pairs as a Machine Operator and Tech. Shifts available include 1st Shift (Mon-Th), 2nd Shift (4:30pm-3:00am, Mon-Th), Weekend 1st (5am-5pm, Fri-Sun), and Weekend 2nd (5pm-5am, Fri-Sun). The facility can be hot and dirty in the summer.

     

    $5/hr Premium for Weekend mornings, and $8/hr premium for weekend nights!

    This is a Permanent position based out of Stoughton, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $45760.00/yr.
