Job Title: Painter
Job Description
We are seeking skilled residential and commercial painters for a 4-plex apartment project in San Jose. This is a 3-4 month project with the potential for future opportunities in the Bay Area for high-performing individuals.
Responsibilities
+ Apply paints, stains, and varnishes using brushes and rollers.
+ Clean, sand, scrape, and brush surfaces in preparation for painting.
+ Repair surfaces to be painted, including plastering and sheet rock finishing.
+ Mix and match paints and refinish furniture such as chairs, bookcases, and desks.
+ Set glass and apply putty.
+ Paint signs and occasionally hang wallpaper.
Essential Skills
+ 2-5 years of experience in commercial or residential painting.
+ Proficiency in using brushes and rollers for painting.
+ Ability to prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning and repairing.
+ Experience in painting commercial projects with a focus on speed and quality.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 1+ years of experience in commercial painting projects.
+ Capability to prep and paint an IOI Room in an hour.
+ Possession of own work boots, white pants, and white shirt.
+ Ownership of personal brushes and rollers; paint will be provided.

Work Environment
Work is conducted on a 4-plex apartment project in San Jose. Candidates are expected to bring their own work boots, white attire, and painting tools. Paint is provided by the company.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Clara, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
