Job Title: Production Associate | Davenport, IA | $18/hr

Job Description

Join a leading manufacturer of bread slicing equipment as a Production Associate. Be part of a team that excels in creating lattice, blade guides, and honing equipment for bread slicers. Contribute to the e-machine department in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

+ Operate machinery and assist with general labor tasks.

+ Understand and interpret conformance specifications.

+ Prioritize chain assembly to meet delivery schedules.

+ Perform machine operations and assembly tasks with precision.

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of work station.

+ Ensure adherence to safety protocols at all times.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret specifications.

+ Good communication skills.

+ Physical capability to stand for long periods.

+ Manual dexterity and ability to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds.

+ Proficiency in chain assembly techniques and equipment adjustment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Knowledge of wire bending set-ups, adjustments, and specifications.

+ Experience in mechanical assembly and general production tasks.

Work Environment

Work in a well-lit, large warehouse that can be very wet in some areas and hot at times. Enjoy the flexibility of wearing shorts and t-shirts, with fans running consistently to keep the warehouse cool. Collaborate across multiple departments and maintain a clean work station at all times.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
