    Job Title: Quality Control Technician

    Job Description

    As a Quality Control Technician, you will evaluate production operations from a strategic level to ensure that products meet quality, integrity, functionality, and other specifications and requirements. You will primarily work with pipe, utilizing micrometers and calipers, to assess test results and approve recommended changes. Your role will include conducting inspections and quality control checks, as well as periodically reporting the status of quality control and operations to executive leadership and, when required, to regulatory agencies.

    Responsibilities

    + Evaluate production operations to ensure products meet specifications and requirements.

    + Utilize micrometers and calipers for quality assessments.

    + Conduct inspections and quality control checks.

    + Assess test results and approve recommended changes.

    + Report the status of quality control and operations to executive leadership and regulatory agencies.

    Essential Skills

    + Quality assurance

    + Inspection and dimensional inspection

    + Proficiency with micrometers and calipers

    + Intermediate level quality control for fabrication

    + Ability to read blueprints

    + Experience with hand tools and schematics

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 3 years of related quality control experience in stainless steel and aluminum manufacturing

    + Experience in magnetic particle testing, dye penetrant testing, and PMI testing is a plus

    + Ability to work independently following established procedures

    + Self-starter with good interpersonal and communication skills

    + Knowledge of AWS and ASME standards

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment includes 11 buildings, each specializing in different areas. Not all buildings are climate controlled, but all are equipped with large fans and heaters. Work schedules vary with one position available from Monday to Thursday, 6 am to 3 pm, and another from Monday to Thursday, 5 pm to 4:30 am, located in Quality Control Building 1.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
