**Job Title:** Training & Compliance Associate IV
Position Summary:
Responsible for the development and implementation of initial and recurring transmission, sub-transmission, and distribution system training for all Operations Center personnel to ensure the safe, adequate, reliable and secure operation of the Duquesne Light electric system. In addition, responsible for the review and development of all compliance procedures and training activities for the Duquesne Light Operations Center. This involves maintaining adherence to all PJM, NERC, FERC, RFC, and state PUC applicable regulations through regular review and updates to procedures. Responsible to provide information needed for the timely submittal of reports, responses to data requests, and preparation and submittal of audit information.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Develop and conduct training for new, existing, and modified Operations Center procedures, verifying alignment with other internal DLC department training programs or procedures, to ensure compliance with NERC, FERC, RFC, PJM and PUC reliability standards or internal DLC requirements.
+ Develop, modify, and implement recurring and initial training programs for the Transmission System operators, Distribution System operators, and Shift Supervisors.
+ Maintain training records (materials, attendance, feedback, progress, etc.). Maintain current tracking tools, and develop new tracking and auditing solutions, as needed.
+ Monitor the Continuing Education Hours (CEH) for all NERC and PJM certified employees in the Operations Center, schedule annual recurrent training necessary to maintain these certifications, maintain training records in accordance with record retention policies, and ensure DLC's status as a NERC continuing education provider is maintained.
+ In conjunction with the OTS Specialist and other support staff, prepare simulations for ongoing and new user training and company sponsored drills.
+ Participate in the development, update, and delivery of technology-related training to Operations Center Personnel.
+ Develop or modify existing Operations Center procedures, verifying they align with other internal DLC Department procedures, to ensure continuous compliance with NERC, FERC, RF, PJM, and PUC reliability standards. Communicate new and modified procedures to Operations Center Personnel.
+ Gather evidence for internal or external compliance audits.
+ Partner and assist with the work of the Training and Compliance Specialist.
+ Participate on external committees and attend meetings, such as PJM, RF, NERC, as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:
+ Preferred: Bachelors Degree in science, engineering, education, instruction design, or a related field
+ 5+ years of related experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience working in an Operations Center setting.
+ RTO certification and NERC certifications desired.
+ Systematic Approach to Training certification
+ Experience with Learning Management Systems
+ Six Sigma
Skills/Abilities:
+ Excellent technical, written and oral communications skills required to communicate in a correct, concise, and professional manner; demonstrated ability to work professionally with others.
+ Experience with Articulate
+ Microsoft Office Suite
+ SharePoint
Scope
Primary focus is on daily deliverables, outputs and reporting. Accountable for managing one's own time and workflow but may be leading projects or project steps. Work is typically complex in nature requiring the incumbent to draw on previous knowledge to perform the role. Continues to build knowledge base but has a solid foundation to act independently the majority of the time. Still draws on experts and managers when needed but less frequently. Acts as a resource to less experienced staff on routine issues.
Decision Impact
The problems and issues faced are complex. Incumbent draws on past experience on a regular basis to solve problems and take new perspectives on existing solutions. Accountable for direct level of reasoning and decision making.
Hybrid Work
Position follows our hybrid work model, with a minimum of two days working in the office and the remaining days working remotely. Reporting location and frequency may be subject to change based on job role and department needs.
Storm Roles
All Non-Union Employees will serve in storm roles as appropriate to their role and skillset. Utilize data to make business decisions as appropriate for the position, support data stewardship activities and partner with IT on underlying data needs.
