    Job Title: Packer | Rock Island, IL | $16-17/hr

    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team at our supplemental Rock Island location, assisting with the distribution and repackaging of agricultural equipment parts. This role involves operating a high picker and working with a variety of products, from small boxes to large machinery parts.

    Responsibilities

    + Sort boxes and place them on the correct pick pallets for forklift operators.

    + Pick and pack products, which range in size, for 70% of the shift.

    + Utilize an RF scanner for inventory management.

    + Load and unload semi-trailers with completed pallets.

    Essential Skills

    + Packing, production, and packaging experience.

    + Inventory management and general labor capabilities.

    + Familiarity with warehouse inventory, labeling, and order picking.

    + Experience with RF scanners and material handling.

    + Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

    + 6 months of warehouse experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to work mandatory overtime.

    + Candidates will be on their feet for most of their shift.

    + The role does not involve operating a forklift.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a large, open parts distribution center, fostering an inclusive environment with a focus on quality. Performance is measured by adherence to quality standards. The facility operates Monday through Friday, with 1st shift hours from 7-3:30pm and 2nd shift hours from 4pm-1 or 2am, depending on workload. Candidates should be prepared for some mandatory overtime.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Island, Illinois.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
