    Multi-Craft Maintenance . 1 on 2nd shift open.

     

    1st shift 6:30 - 2:30 pm

     

    2nd shift 2:30pm to 11pm. Monday - Fridays.

     

    3rd shift - -Sunday -Thursday 10:00 pm until 6:30 am

    Job Description:

    Efficiently and effectively provide maintenance support in order to meet the needs of customers, both internal and external while maintaining a safe and clean work environment for employees. Provide technical expertise to support daily operations and to achieve significant improvement in production related objectives.

     

    -Actively work on and engage with all department projects, tasks and objectives.

     

    -Demonstrated experience with automation equipment. Manages configuration and versions of programmable devices, hardware and systems such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's), vision camera systems, barcode scanners, intelligent sensors and devices, PC based machine control systems and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) level systems.

     

    -Perform corrective and preventative maintenance repairs and works on a wide variety of electrical, mechanical, electronic and electromechanical production equipment and building systems. Must be familiar with typical mechanics hand tools, precision measuring instruments and electrical test equipment such as multi meters.

     

    -Assists with set up and set up operator activities, installation and set up of new equipment.

     

    -Troubleshoot (diagnose and resolve) breakdowns of hydraulic, pneumatic and high voltage electrical systems without assistance.

     

    -Ability to work from layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, drawings or verbal instructions.

     

    -Troubleshoots and diagnoses CNC equipment. Performs maintenance, repair and calibration on equipment such as control systems of numerically controlled machines (CNC), other controlling or spot welding, etc...Conducts operational test and repairs equipment by disassembling required components, repairing and/or replacing faulty parts reassembling and adjusting equipment. Determines proper setting for timing and control mechanisms.

     

    -Ensures strict adherence to safety procedures and critical facility work rules. Must be familiar with proper chemical handling procedures, local codes, cooling systems and chillers. Proper handling of chemicals and SDS documents. Must have knowledge of safe work practices and LOTO procedures.

     

    -Assure work environment is clean, orderly and free of safety hazards.

     

    -Complete all required safety program objectives and training.

     

    -Take an active part in cost reduction and continuous improvement programs.

     

    -Maintain the highest ethical standards as well as absolute personal and intellectual integrity, mature judgement and have the ability to communicate al all levels of the organization.

     

    -Other activities as needed.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    Required Skills:

    -3-5 years of Industrial Multi-Craft Maintenance Engineer experience. CNC equipment/repair is a plus.

     

    -Electrical, mechanical and PLC troubleshooting exp. is required.

     

    -High School Diploma or GED. Twenty four to thirty six months of trade school (or equivalent experience) is preferred.

     

    -Ability to communicate effectively, in oral and written form with operators, Team Leads and Engineers on workmanship, manufacturability and process/design issue. Interface and pass down information between cross function personnel of incoming and outgoing shifts.

     

    -Work independently with a high degree of quality and reliability so that the equipment is capable of operating within the required specifications.

     

    -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and ability to use a PC and email.

     

    -Excellent analytical, problem solving and facilitation skills.

     

    -Must be able to lift 50 pounds manually and repetitively.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
