    Job Title: Yard Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Yard Technician to maintain and assist with equipment in our yard. This role is ideal for someone with a interest in learning new skills and has a strong work ethic.

    Responsibilities

    + Will be tasked with refueling, staging, greasing, and cleaning equipment to maintain all equipment and machinery in the yard.

    + Will learn how to move and operate various equipment in the yard such as Mini Excavators, Scissor Lifts, Boom Lifts, Forklifts, and Skidsteers.

    + Assist mechanics with daily preventative maintenance tasks.

    + Help load and offload equipment for customers or drivers during pickup and return.

    + Verify check in and check out documentation and paperwork with customers and clients.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with forklift operation is preferred.

    + Mechanical aptitude and general labor skills.

    + Strong communication skills and a willingness to engage with customers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Excavators and Skid steers is a plus but not required.

    + Willingness to learn and a positive attitude.

    + Being a team player is highly valued.

    Work Environment

    + Work in a dynamic yard environment that includes both indoor and outdoor settings.

    + Steel-toed boots are required, and the company provides necessary safety gear such as vests and hard hats.

    + You will be part of a team of 28 dedicated professionals committed to safety and excellence.

    + Shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday (no weekends required)

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
