    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    As a Non-FAA Production Associate, you will be responsible for executing a range of tasks to complete electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies. This includes soldering, cable assembly, machine operation, and final assembly among others. You will follow established methods and procedures to ensure tasks are completed according to manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision.

    Responsibilities

    + Hand soldering of wires to electrical connectors and PCBs.

    + Assemble electromechanical assemblies as required.

    + Review and complete required production documentation.

    + Read and understand moderately complex assembly instructions.

    + Comprehend written and verbal assignments.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production and general labor.

    + Proficiency in assembly and soldering.

    + Ability to use hand tools effectively.

    + Understanding of blueprint and electronic assembly.

    + Familiarity with cleanroom and surface-mount technology.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED.

    + Experience with SMT and electronic assembly.

    Work Environment

     

    Join a 154,000 square feet temperature-controlled facility with over 550 people on site. Work on one of the 7 SMT lines available. Choose between two shifts: 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, or 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, 2:30 pm to 1:00 am. The facility offers a supportive work environment with a cafeteria and other modern amenities.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, New York.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
