    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    This is a maintenance role within a food manufacturing company, focusing on maintaining and repairing bakery equipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers, conveyors, pneumatic delivery systems, and extrusion machines.

    + Identify and troubleshoot issues on production lines.

    + Adjust machine components, such as phone-eye sensors, to ensure proper function.

    + Conduct fabrication work, including welding stainless steel materials to create machine covers and product catch systems.

    + Prioritize preventive maintenance to minimize reactive breakdowns.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial setting.

    + Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

    + Ability to conduct repairs and preventive maintenance.

    + Familiarity with schematics and 3-phase 480v electrical systems.

    + Skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

    + Ability to read blueprints and perform industrial maintenance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in welding, specifically with stainless steel.

    + Previous experience in bakery or food manufacturing is beneficial.

    + Ownership of a basic set of tools (small toolbox).
