Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We have been an industry leader and global supplier of highway safety products for over 50 years. Our core roadway product lines include guardrails, end terminals, steel barriers, crash cushions, and sign supports. We are dedicated to bringing the next generation of innovative safety products to an ever-changing market. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks with highway products both on foot and using a forklift. You will operate both a regular 6,000 lbs sit-down forklift and an industrial 18,000 lbs forklift. Working in a large field of inventory outdoors and two indoor facilities, you will retrieve products and prepare them for shipping. This role includes handling shipments of large screws and bolts, separating them into large bins, and packaging them.

Responsibilities

+ Operate equipment and tools to aid in manufacturing highway safety products.

+ Perform a variety of physically strenuous tasks to maintain efficient production.

+ Maintain a clean work environment.

+ Lift and carry materials of varying weights throughout the shift.

+ Check tools and equipment in compliance with safety regulations.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 1 year of industrial experience.

+ Reliable and predictable attendance.

+ Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment in the area.

+ Ability to perform all essential functions safely and efficiently.

+ Ability to function as a team member and establish effective working relationships.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with forklifts, RF scanners, and general material handling.

+ Capability to lift heavy items and perform general labor tasks.

+ Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.

Work Environment

This position is located in a dirty industrial warehouse with conditions that can be hot, cold, dirty, and noisy. The job requires working in a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment across various areas of the plant. Safety is our highest priority, and adherence to safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing hearing and eye protection, protective clothing, and steel-toed shoes, is mandatory. Dependable attendance and punctuality are crucial for the success of the plant.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Centerville, Utah.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
