Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Concord, Massachusetts. This role is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of financial transactions and invoice processing. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts payable operations and a commitment to accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices to ensure accurate coding and timely payments.

• Manage accounts payable transactions, including Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and check runs.

• Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice-related issues and improve processing workflows.

• Generate reports detailing accounts payable activities and provide insights for decision-making.

• Ensure adherence to deadlines for payment schedules and reporting requirements.

• Assist in the implementation and optimization of accounts payable systems and procedures.

• Communicate effectively with vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment concerns.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable operations, including invoice processing and payment handling.

• Proficiency in Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check runs.

• Strong understanding of account coding and financial record-keeping practices.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in using accounting software and tools for accounts payable tasks.

• Effective communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.

• Familiarity with compliance standards and best practices in accounts payable.
