Job Title: Production Associate
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate to join our metal recycling team. This role involves operating machinery and handling metal materials in a fast-paced production environment. It is initially a 6-week project with the potential for a full-time position based on performance.
Responsibilities
+ Operate machinery used in the metal recycling process.
+ Perform repetitive lifting of metal materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
+ Transport scrap metal to designated recycling machines.
+ Ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment.
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
+ Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
+ Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
+ Experience with machine operation in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
+ Strong work ethic and reliability.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Willingness to adhere to safety standards and procedures.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Valdosta, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $20.25/hr.
