• Maintenance Mechanic

    Aerotek (New Holland, PA)


    Food manufacturer looking to add a Maintenance Mechanic to their team on 2nd shift. Will pay $28-34/hr plus $2.50/hr for shift differential. Currently working 8-10 hours of overtime. Conveniently located right off Main St in New Holland, PA.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs to equipment during production.

    + Maintain and repair production, packaging, and material handling equipment.

    + Support machine setups and changeovers.

    + Respond to production trouble calls.

    + Utilize testing equipment or diagnostic skills to determine the root cause of problems.

    + Instruct production operators as needed to prevent machine or system damage.

    + Perform preventive maintenance.

    + Participate in Continuous Improvement Process.

    + Troubleshoot automation, mechanical, servo, and utility equipment issues and implement improvements.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED required.

    + 3-5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment

    + Ability to use basic shop mathematics and interpret blueprints.

    + Skills in electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting and repairs.

    + Experience with inventory control, preventative and predictive maintenance.

    + Basic office computer operation skills.

    + Understanding of lockout-tagout and industrial safety procedures.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.
