Forklift Operator - Grand Prairie, Tx

1st Shift - Up to 23$/hr

Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the transition into a new plant by moving materials efficiently. Your responsibilities will include unloading trucks and preparing areas to receive materials, utilizing both stand-up and sit-down forklift equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials.

+ Unload trucks and assist in preparing areas to receive materials.

+ Handle materials using various equipment such as pallet jacks.

+ Participate in general labor tasks as needed.

+ Contribute to the cleaning and organization of the warehouse.

+ Assist in marking areas with tape for material placement.

Essential Skills

+ Proficient in operating forklifts including stand-up and sit-down models.

+ Experience in material handling and loading/unloading procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

+ Willingness to engage in general labor tasks to support team goals.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
