Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairs and maintenance of all industrial equipment within the facility. This includes ensuring the smooth operation of conveyor lines that handle green beans and bell peppers. The technician will assist the maintenance manager in the installation of preventive maintenance measures throughout the facility and is tasked with keeping production machinery, specifically conveyor systems, running efficiently with minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

+ Repair and maintain all industrial equipment within the facility.

+ Ensure conveyor lines for green beans and bell peppers operate smoothly.

+ Assist the maintenance manager with the installation of preventive maintenance (PMs) measures.

+ Keep production machinery, such as conveyor systems, running with minimal downtime.

+ Utilize strong electrical skills to troubleshoot and maintain systems.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting.

+ Experience in repairing conveyor systems.

+ Capable of performing electrical work up to 480 volts.

+ Experience with fixing 3-phase motors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in machine repair.

+ Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

+ Fabrication skills.

Work Environment

Positions are available on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts with flexibility. The 1st shift runs from 5:30 am to 3:00 pm, the 2nd shift from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, and the 3rd shift from 9:00 pm to 5:30 am. Technicians may need to work 10-12 hour days until fully staffed, especially during busy seasons like Thanksgiving, with a 55-60 hour work week expected. The facility maintains a temperature of 40 degrees, so dressing warmly in a coat and gloves is advised. Company uniforms are provided after one month.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $62400.00/yr.
