Heavy Equipment Operator
**Location:** Lincoln, NE (with potential work in Omaha and travel opportunities post-project)
Job Description:
**We are seeking a reliable and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator** with proven experience operating **skid steers/excavators** . This position is ideal for someone who values precision, safety, and efficiency in site preparation and foundational work. Experience with other equipment such as excavators, loaders,or dozers is a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
+ Operate skid steer equipment for site prep, grading, material handling, and foundational prepping
+ Perform daily maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
+ Follow project plans and supervisor instructions
+ Maintain a safe and clean work environment
+ Assist with general labor tasks as needed
Requirements:
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
+ Minimum 2 years of experience operating skid steers
+ Familiarity with construction site safety practices
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
+ Physical ability to work outdoors in various conditions
Nice to Have:
+ Experience with other heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, dozers)
+ OSHA certification
+ Basic mechanical skills

Work Environment:
Candidates will be working on large commercial projects prepping site foundations. The team is part of a specialized geotechnical subcontractor
servicing projects across the continental U.S., collaborating with general contractors, developers, and construction managers to deliver ground
improvement and settlement control solutions. The company values innovation,integrity, and respect for its team, families, and clients.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
