    Job Title: Spray Dry Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated and skilled Spray Dry Operators to join our team, where you will play an integral role in our production process. You will be responsible for operating machinery, handling materials, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products.

    Responsibilities

    + Use computer systems and handle related documentation.

    + Fill liquids and powders into tanks.

    + Weigh raw materials accurately according to the formula.

    + Operate a forklift to move products around the production floor.

    + Select appropriate tanks based on manufacturing requirements and batch size.

    + Pick required raw materials from the warehouse according to the formula.

    + Scan raw materials using a barcode scanner to ensure lot number and quantity accuracy.

    + Stage raw materials and add them to the tank according to work order instructions.

    + Fill and pack orders ensuring accurate weight and correct labeling.

    + Follow GMP and safety guidelines and procedures.

    + Be open to cross-training and assist in different departments as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with GMP, batching, production, mixing, and compounding.

    + Ability to receive products using a forklift—stand-up and sit-down.

    + Experience in machine operation with Spray Dry machinery.

    + Ability to retrieve raw materials from the warehouse.

    + ERP and handheld barcode scanner proficiency.

    + Capability to conduct cycle counting on raw materials.

    + Experience in a warehouse setting or logistics, with preferred experience in operating material handling equipment.

    + Forklift operation, safety awareness, respirator protection, lock-out training, and GMP compliance.

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs.

    + Prior experience in compounding, blending, batching, or machine operation in a food or GMP environment.

    + Attention to detail when reviewing batch records.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with ERP or handheld barcode scanners.

    + Warehouse or logistics experience preferred.

    + Knowledge of safety protocols and GMP.

    Work Environment

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
