Job Title: Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to train machine operators, apply tooling knowledge, and operate machinery for large aviation clients. The role involves setting up and maintaining machinery, building work instructions, troubleshooting, and performing quality control procedures.
Responsibilities
+ Train machine operators on the form and function of equipment, including Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
+ Apply tooling knowledge for cutting different types of materials.
+ Set up and operate the machinery.
+ Build work instructions to ensure proper operation of machinery and equipment, and adjust as necessary to improve performance.
+ Troubleshoot issues and perform quality and recordkeeping procedures.
+ Report problems to the supervisor.
+ Follow reporting control utilizing basic hand measuring tools, roamer arm, and/or height gauge.
+ Comply with all safety and health regulations and company policies.
+ Maintain cleanliness in the work area and clean machinery.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with CNC machines, including CNC machining, CNC mill, and CNC lathe.
+ Ability to build from print.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with 4 3-axis lathe spots.
+ Experience with 1 horizontal mill.
+ Experience with 3 5-axis lathe.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr.
