Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join a leading company in the packaging industry, renowned for being the largest privately-held 100% recycled paper and packaging company. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our automated equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

+ Perform electrical repairs and troubleshooting on plant equipment including box machines, die cutters, fork trucks, and conveyors.

+ Work with electrical systems up to 480v 3-phase, including PLC troubleshooting, drives, and sensors.

+ Conduct mechanical repairs and troubleshooting on automated plant equipment.

+ Execute welding and fabrication duties using MIG, TIG, and stick welding on mild and aluminum materials.

+ Read and interpret logic, schematics, and blueprints.

+ Pull and run wires, ensuring all installations meet safety standards.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial maintenance.

+ Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and repairs.

+ Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.

+ Ability to read schematics and blueprints.

+ Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in welding and fabrication tasks.

+ Ability to troubleshoot both electrically and mechanically.

Work Environment

The facility is very clean and highly automated, offering a pleasant work environment. Maintenance areas are spacious and well-equipped. The company operates on three shifts: 1st (6-3), 2nd (2-11), and 3rd (10-7, starting Sunday). Current overtime is every other Saturday until staffing levels are optimized, with employees working approximately 50 hours per week. The dress code includes steel-toed shoes, jeans, and casual attire, with safety glasses required for all employees.

This is a Permanent position based out of Beloit, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
