    Job Title: Flex Inspector

    Job Description

    This position verifies the quality of parts by visual inspection, dimensional verification, and/or electrical testing to documented criteria. The role involves removing parts from the sheet and packaging them for shipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Read and follow instructions on a traveler and other company documentation to correctly complete required tasks.

    + Correctly fill out company documentation to accurately record manufacturing lot information, measurements, etc.

    + Work under direct supervision and in accordance with instructions and techniques to correctly process parts.

    + Inspect parts using a microscope to determine conformance with company and customer inspection criteria.

    + Remove parts from a sheet using scissors or clippers, depending on the part.

    + Use drop gauges and handheld micrometers to measure material thickness.

    + Use various electrical test equipment to verify the circuit’s continuity and isolation.

    + Understand the different sections of a flex circuit and the fundamentals of how a circuit works.

    + Identify and make recommendations for inspection improvement opportunities to help lower part costs and make parts quicker to process through the inspection department and the plant.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, Massachusetts.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
