    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    Join our team as a General Production Worker where you will be responsible for performing product assembly and production functions of custom doors. You will operate various equipment such as clamps, presses, sanders, nail guns, hand and power tools, and computers. It is essential to have a basic understanding of reading a tape measure and the physical ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform product assembly and production functions for custom doors.

    + Operate equipment including clamps, presses, sanders, nail guns, hand and power tools, and computers.

    + Read and interpret tape measures to ensure precision in measurements.

    + Maintain a consistent ability to lift 50 lbs.

    + Work collaboratively in a team environment to meet production targets.

    Essential Skills

    + Basic knowledge of reading a tape measure.

    + Experience with hand tools and power tools.

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.

    + Experience in general labor, assembly, or construction.

    + Familiarity with operating production equipment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in assembly, construction, carpentry, or manufacturing settings.

    + Experience with calipers and working with wood products.

    + Understanding of blueprint reading and inspection processes.

    Work Environment

     

    The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with mandatory work every other Saturday from 6 am to 2:30 pm. The work environment requires steel-toed footwear and involves physical tasks such as lifting. You will work with modern equipment and tools in a collaborative and safety-focused setting.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northwood, Iowa.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
