Job Title: Material Handler/Loader
Job Description
As a Material Handler/Loader, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for unloading incoming deliveries using a side loader, forklift, or overhead crane. You will also be tasked with identifying and verifying materials against bills of lading and purchase orders, moving materials to designated areas, loading conveyors according to project requirements, and cutting materials to length with a 38” band saw.
Responsibilities
+ Unload incoming deliveries using side loader, forklift, and overhead crane.
+ Identify and verify materials against bills of lading and purchase orders.
+ Move materials to designated areas within the facility.
+ Load conveyors according to individual project specifications.
+ Cut materials to specified lengths using a 38” band saw.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in identifying steel shapes.
+ Proficiency in using rulers and measuring devices with whole numbers and fractions.
+ Ability to count and track multiple piece orders accurately.
+ Strong communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ General labor experience.
+ Material handling skills.
+ Forklift operation experience.
+ Loading and unloading proficiency.

Work Environment
You will be working in a loud, open shop environment, with shifts running from 6 am to 3:30 pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
