             Job Title: Welding Supervisor Job Description The Welding Supervisor assists the Factory Manager by ensuring all logistics related to safety, quality, and production are effectively maintained within the assigned weld bays. Responsibilities + Schedule work to achieve production objectives and ensure efficient movement of products through weld bays. + Perform MIG and TIG welding on both standard and exotic materials. + Execute training plans for personnel as directed by the Operations Manager. + Proficiently use and train others on operating procedures, including ISO Procedures, Design Drawings, and Work Instructions. + Assign personnel to jobs based on their qualifications and abilities. + Organize the work center to be ready for the next day's production. + Identify and report problems with equipment function, parts, and raw materials. + Implement and sustain lean manufacturing and 5S practices. + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Essential Skills + Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding. + Experience in using ISO Procedures, Design Drawings, and Work Instructions. + 10 years of continued growth in welding. + Level 3 inspector or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification. + ASME Section 9 / AWS knowledge and experience. Work Environment This role is based in a manufacturing facility's welding department, operating during day shifts from Monday to Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Lenexa, Kansas. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
