Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker responsible for shrink wrapping and loading trucks using a manual pallet jack. The role involves working on the shipping side to stage orders that have been picked for shipment, verifying box counts, shrink wrapping pallets, weighing them, printing labels, and moving pallets with a pallet jack.

Responsibilities

+ Stage orders that have been picked for shipment.

+ Verify picked boxes and use a calculator to ensure correct pick counts before shrink wrapping.

+ Shrink wrap pallets, weigh them, and print labels.

+ Use a pallet jack to move pallets and assist in loading trucks.

Essential Skills

+ 2-3 years of warehouse experience.

+ Experience with pallet jack and RF scanners.

+ Ability to count and match accurately.

+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

+ Ability to stand for 8 hours and move, pull, and push up to 50 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with warehouse inventory and material handling.

+ Familiarity with RF scanners and computer skills.

+ Crown forklift experience is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodridge, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.24 - $18.24/hr.
