    Description

    We are looking for a Project Assistant to play a key role in advancing local business initiatives, fostering workforce development, and strengthening the community. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about driving strategic projects and collaborating with local businesses to achieve sustainable growth.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and manage strategic projects that align with the organization’s goals for community and economic development.

    • Conduct surveys and analyze data to inform strategic decision-making and project implementation.

    • Prepare and manage budgets for projects, ensuring financial accountability and transparency.

    • Review and produce documentation that supports project objectives and organizational initiatives.

    • Maintain detailed meeting minutes to track progress and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

    • Develop strategic analyses and reports to assess project outcomes and identify areas for improvement.

    • Communicate effectively with local partners, businesses, and organizations to foster collaboration and engagement.

    • Ensure all projects meet established timelines and objectives while adhering to organizational standards

    Additional Information:

    -Contract to hire

     

    -37.5-40 hours per week, Mon-Friday

     

    -Business Casual Attire

     

    Pay: DOE

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination, community development, or a related field.

    • Proficiency in budgeting and financial management for project execution.

    • Strong skills in reviewing and preparing documentation for strategic initiatives.

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    • Knowledge of community-building principles and workforce development strategies.
