Job Title: 1st Shift Production Worker

Job Description

A production company specializing in grout and concrete manufacturing is seeking a dedicated long-term general production worker. This role is essential in maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring efficient production processes.

Responsibilities

+ Measure and inspect products for defects and report any issues to supervisors.

+ Load, unload, and transport materials and finished products using a forklift.

+ Operate machinery safely and efficiently according to company guidelines.

+ Follow all safety regulations and workplace procedures.

Essential Skills

+ General production experience in grout and concrete manufacturing.

+ Proficient in machine operation and general labor tasks.

+ Experience with loading and forklift operation.

+ Strong skills in inspection and measurement.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

+ Comfortable with cross-training within multiple departments.

+ Capability to complete basic math and measuring tasks.

Work Environment

The role is based in a load and industrial environment where steel-toed shoes are required. Personal Protective Equipment, including hard hats, safety glasses, and respiratory masks, are provided. The position follows a 1st Shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM. Employees must be comfortable working overtime as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Mirada, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
