    Job Title: Production Supervisor

    Job Description

    The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing the shift, overseeing both indirect and direct staff within the chain of command. The role ensures the smooth running of the production process, ensuring that all products meet specified specifications. The position involves meeting targets and deadlines to fulfill orders while ensuring all staff comply with the company’s health and safety procedures.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage and oversee a team of 30 people on the weld side of the plant.

    + Ensure the smooth operation of the production process and adherence to product specifications.

    + Meet production targets and deadlines.

    + Oversee compliance with health and safety procedures.

    + Conduct inventory control and quality checks.

    + Hire, fire, and coach employees to meet production numbers.

    Essential Skills

    + 4+ years of supervisory experience in an automotive facility.

    + Experience overseeing 30+ people on one shift.

    + Experience in inventory management (shipping/receiving).

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience working in a facility with robotic weld cells.

    + Proficiency in quality control using mics, calipers, and gages.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment consists of six buildings at Concord, including presses ranging from 100-600 ton Progressive, Mig Welding Machines, and Orbit Forming machines. It is a typical stamping facility, which can be loud and not the cleanest but not overly dirty. The 1st shift hours are 6am - 2pm, with some flexibility of 30 minutes. The workweek is Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays based on production needs, totaling 40-50 hours.

    The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $62400.00/yr.
