Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for maintaining and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic components on slitter and roll grinding machines. This role involves an equal split between reactive maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
+ Perform reactive maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic components, primarily on slitter and roll grinding machines.
+ Conduct fabrication work, including welding parts or brackets to ensure proper repairs.
+ Work with 3-phase 480v motors and replace sensors as needed.
+ Execute preventive maintenance tasks such as replacing motors or greasing bearings.
Essential Skills
+ 3 years of experience with hydraulics.
+ 3 years of experience with pneumatics.
+ Experience with 3-phase 480v systems.
+ Proficiency in working with sensors.
+ Ability to perform welding and fabrication work.
+ Capability to read and understand prints.
+ Experience in conducting preventive maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous experience with coil systems is beneficial.
+ Understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is a plus.

Work Environment
The position operates in a non-climate-controlled facility, with a faint paint smell due to the proximity of a paint line. Employees are required to have their own basic set of tools and adhere to a dress code of jeans and steel-toed shoes.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
