Rapidly Expanding New York City firm is currently seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their team! In this role, you will manage essential financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting processes. This position requires a proactive approach to handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related financial activities.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and update financial records.

• Perform data entry tasks to ensure all financial information is properly documented.

• Handle invoice processing and ensure timely payments to vendors.

• Prepare and distribute bills and statements to clients in a timely manner.

• Reconcile account discrepancies and resolve any billing issues.

• Assist in generating financial reports and documentation as required.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Ability to perform accurate data entry and manage financial records.
