    As the Director - Agile Practice, you will provide tactical leadership and direct the Agile Organization and change champions as a leader who serves. You will provide leadership, coaching, mentoring and guidance to executives, business partners, leaders and other stakeholders across the organization to ensure the delivery of "value” from the people, product and organization perspective. You will provide leadership as the organization transitions to a more lean and agile approach. You will provide leadership and direction in the shaping of the Agile journey by creating and implementing new strategies, delivering on key goals, and maintaining alignment with company strategies and core values while delivering in a Scrum @ Scale environment.

    Responsibilities:

    + Support whole organizational business agility within Business functions such as HR, Legal, ePMO, etc.

    + Use Real Time Data to monitor product team’s performance and leverage data driven coaching across the team of teams

    + Interface and maintain clear communication with Agile Senior Leadership

    + Lead by example to be an effective catalyst leader and change agent

    + Leads a team of a cross-functional Coaches, SM’s and Scaled SMs through WESCO’s Agile Transformation journey through coaching and mentoring; oversees at least one people manager as a direct report

    + Coaches, guides and empowers employees, managers and leaders to solve their own problems; challenges teams, technical and product leadership to focus on their craft or technical excellence

    + Increases visibility of and facilitates the Agile Practice Strategy throughout the organization; supports Portfolio alignment sessions to determine appropriate teams/products to include in the Portfolio and organize in Value Streams

    + Establish Agile Metrics that are aligned with product team OKRs and coach around how to use OKRs to drive delivery towards business value

    + Create and maintain SOWs, budget items, contracts as needed to support the transformation

    + Teach and mentor leaders and employees on how to use OKRs

    + Teach and mentor organization on Lean, Agile, and Scrum/Kanban principles and best practices; contributes to the establishment of relentless improvement across the entire organization, and accelerates progress

    + Works with the organization to implement and create new practices that will improve the organization’s ability to deliver better outcomes; ensures work environment is not just diverse but inclusive in background and thought and fosters a Kaizen mindset within and outside the team

    + Assists teams to remove their own barriers, leverage network to remove barriers the teams are unable to remove and challenge organizational impediments

    + Continuously focuses on improving the Agile community within WESCO

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s Degree – Business, Industrial Engineering or Software Engineering, Agile, Project Management related discipline

    + 9 years experience on a scrum team or scrum environment

    + 7 years of leadership experience

    + 7 years of experience with lean and implementing a kaizen mindset

    + 3 years experience working in a Scaled environment, preferable Scrum @ Scale or SAFe

    + Strong communication, interpersonal, coaching, teaching and mentoring skills

    + Demonstrates the Scrum Values: Openness, Respect, Courage, Commitment and Focus

    + Must have a bias for action and be comfortable in an ever changing or ambiguous environment

    + Advanced credential from the Scrum Alliance, Scrum Inc, Scrum.org, or ICAgile

    + Demonstrated experience working with project and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro and Office 365 preferred

    + Demonstrated ability to encourage team members to have an experimental and fail-fast and learning mindset preferred

    + Demonstrated experience working with teams applying DevSecOps capabilities to achieve delivery speed and operational stability preferred

    + Demonstrated experience working with teams from a variety of technical domains, including but not limited to warehouse management systems, ERPs, financial systems and data-warehouses preferred

    + Ability to travel up to 25%
