    The ideal candidate will previous pastry experience in a restaurant setting or a pastry degree\. They should have a strong understanding of pastry techniques, be detail\-oriented, and capable of maintaining consistency in both flavor and presentation\. The candidate must be comfortable working collaboratively with the kitchen team, managing time efficiently, and upholding high standards of cleanliness and organization\.

     

    What will I be doing?

     

    As a Pastry Cook, you would be responsible for all dessert plating as well as preparing, producing and baking all pastries, breads, rolls and desserts for Signature Restaurant in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability\. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

     

    + Prepare and produce a variety of desserts, petit fours, and breads in alignment with the restaurant's fine dining standards

    + Execute precise plating of desserts according to the Pastry Chef's standards

    + Maintain mise en place and ensure readiness for service, including preparation of sauces, garnishes, and decorative elements\.

    + Ensure timely execution of all pastry items during service, maintaining composure and efficiency under pressure\.

    + Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards

    + Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
