    Position OverviewUnited Health Services is looking for a Strength and Conditioning Coach who is passionate about helping individuals achieve their peak physical performance. In this role, you’ll design and implement evidence-based training programs that enhance strength, endurance, and overall wellness for athletes and patients in a supportive, clinical environment.

    Compensation Range:

    $22.97 - $34.46 per hour, depending on experience

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Develop and implement strategies to reduce injury risk, enhance current training programs, and optimize performance levels for athletes within the Performance Academy.

    + Lead educational initiatives by conducting workshops, clinics, camps, or classes on strength and conditioning principles and best practices.

    + Administer performance testing to evaluate athlete progress and the effectiveness of strength and conditioning programs, adjusting plans as needed.

    + Provide individualized and group exercise prescriptions covering cardiovascular fitness, strength, agility, balance, power, and flexibility tailored to athlete goals.

    + Coordinate and oversee strength and conditioning programs in alignment with Performance Academy objectives and organizational standards.

    + Apply knowledge of performance training policies and guidelines , ensuring compliance and adapting methods to meet organizational needs.

    + Collaborate with the UHS Sports Medicine team for athlete referrals and integrated care, serving as a key member of the multidisciplinary team.

    + Maintain inventory of training supplies and communicate needs or issues to the Human Performance Specialist for timely resolution.

    + Drive program success through world-class training delivery, client retention strategies, and new business development, while tracking referrals and reporting program data accurately.

    Position Qualifications:

    Minimum Required:

    + Completion of a bachelor's degree within 1 year of hire

    + Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification (CSCS) within 6 months of completion of the bachelor's degree.

    Preferred:

    + Bachelor's of Science degree in Exercise Science and

    + 2 years' experience working with high school, college or professional athletes under a strength and conditioning model
