Position OverviewTo ensure that Respiratory Therapy services rendered (the evaluation and treatment of patients) are completed in a timely, accurate and reliable manner. Those served include inpatients, outpatients, UHS staff and employees as well as affiliated UHSH community groups as needed.
Primary Department, Division, or Unit:
Pulmonary Services, UHS Wilson Medical Center
Work Shift and Schedule:
This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.
Compensation Range:
$33.63 - $50.45 per hour, depending on experience
This position is not eligible for benefits.

Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
+ Graduation from an accredited School for Respiratory Therapy
+ CRT credentialed Respiratory Therapist must have at least 10 years of experience to be eligible for Respiratory Therapist 2
+ Two (2) years of Critical Care/Acute Care experience as a Respiratory Therapist OR one (1) year of demonstrated ability as a Respiratory Therapist I within UHS
Preferred:
+ Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
+ New York State Respiratory Therapy License
+ BLS/CPR Certification upon hire and ACLS within 3 months of hire
