Ford Thousand Oaks is looking for an experienced Drivability Technician to join our award-winning service team!     What You’ll Do

     

    + Diagnose and repair engine performance, electrical, emission, and drivability concerns.

    + Perform advanced diagnostics using Ford factory scan tools and equipment.

    + Conduct test drives and verify repairs for accuracy and customer satisfaction.

    + Work closely with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure efficient workflow.

    + Keep up to date with Ford factory training, bulletins, and best practices.

    + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

    Qualifications

    + Ford Certified Technician or equivalent experience preferred.

    + ASE certifications (A8, L1, or equivalent) a plus.

    + Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.

    + Proficiency with Ford IDS/FDRS diagnostic tools.

    + Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record.

    + 1 yr Dealership Technician experience, preferred.

    High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required. We are a drug-free workplace.     This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes Bonuses based on Production/Productivity.

     

    The flat rate range for this position is $16.50 - $57.75.
