This is a hybrid role and candidate must live within 50 miles from an AmeriGas location.

Job Summary (Purpose):
The Contract Manager (CM) reports to the Sr. Director of Commercial Sales and Retention (SDCSR) and is responsible for overseeing the creation, negotiation, and management of contracts throughout their entire lifecycle to ensure the organization's interests are protected and compliance is maintained. The CM will oversee the contract process for commercial customers and support the Territory Sales Managers and the Territory Sales Representatives with contract edits. The CM will serve as the initial point of contact for contract redlines and will be the liaison with the legal team and sales leadership to ensure that contract changes meet legal and business requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities :
+ Contract Creation : Drafting and preparing contract documents, including templates for various agreements with customers to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and company standards.
+ Negotiation : Negotiating contract terms and conditions to ensure they are accurate, reasonable, and align with company objectives.
+ Compliance & Risk Management : Ensuring contracts comply with company policies, regulations, and laws, and identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with contracts. Stay up-to-date on changes to relevant laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
+ Lifecycle Management : Manage the full contract lifecycle, from initial request and drafting through negotiation, execution, and renewal or termination and addressing any issues that arise.
+ Record Management : Organizing, maintaining, and safely storing all contract-related documents for easy accessibility. Maintain a centralized and organized repository of all contract-related documents, correspondence, and versions to ensure accessibility and serve as an audit trail.
+ Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborate with various internal departments, such as legal, finance, sales, and operations to ensure contractual terms meet business objectives and regulatory requirements to ensure smooth contract progression. Prepare and present reports on contract performance, metrics, and status to senior management.
+ Process Improvement : Developing and implementing efficient company-wide procedures and policies for contract management and utilizing technology to streamline processes.
+ Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by manager.

Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, finance, or related field.
Advanced certifications like Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) are preferred
Experience Required:
+ Minimum 5 years of experience with reviewing and redlining customer contracts.
+ Familiarity with the propane distribution industry (or similar industry) and associated business and legal risks.
+ Individual must have strong organizational and communication skills.

The pay for this position ranges from $102,000.00 to $125,000.00 , depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
