Short Description:

The Quality Assurance Tester is responsible for ensuring the overall quality and reliability of our software products that support the Arkansas Judiciary. The court management program will be a cloud-based system.

Complete Description:

JOB DUTIES:

+ Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional and non-functional testing.

+ Perform testing and debugging of new and existing application software.

+ Design, execute, and automate API testing using XUnit and manual testing using Postman.

+ Collaborate with developers and Platform Engineers to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

+ Identify and report defects, track and prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution.

+ Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and efficiency.

+ Stay current with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and test automation.

+ Develop and evolve test plans for complex applications.

+ Deconstruct solutions into tests that optimize for coverage and risk.

+ Create trusted test automation with high reliability and relevancy.

+ Extend test automation frameworks to incorporate new functionality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Education - Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field

+ Experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role.

Required Skills:

+ Current experience testing applications native to cloud on AWS. 2 Years

+ Experience with AWS services including AWS Lambda. 2 Years

+ Current experience with .NET unit testing frameworks. 4 Years

+ Current experience with End-to-end functional UI automation such as Playwright. 4 Years

+ Current experience with React framework. 4 Years

+ Unit testing concepts with React Testing Library and Jest or similar tools. 4 Years

+ Current experience with Andi and Axe dev Tools for accessibility or similar tools Required 4 Years. 4 Years

+ Experience with testing C# Typescript/JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. 4 Years

+ API testing including API automation, .NET, C# Required 4 Years. 4 Years

+ Experience with database systems like Postgres. 4 Years

+ Experience working with version control systems like Git. 4 Years

Desired Skills:

+ Experience with Court Case Management Systems
