Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced software developer to design and develop AWS-based solutions. In this role you will work across several small project teams in helping to shape a DevOps culture. Please apply if you are a talented data engineer with experience in designing and building data pipelines, data warehousing, and data integration. Familiar with tools such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, AWS Glue.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

+ Demonstrated experience in designing and building data pipelines, data warehousing, and data integration.

+ Demonstrated experience with tools such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, AWS Glue.

+ Demonstrated experience providing Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support to production systems to include troubleshooting.Demonstrated experience with cloud platform administration such as Amazon Web Services.

+ Demonstrated experience with configuration and infrastructure management of technical components, including hardware, software, and data.

+ Demonstrated experience developing and continuing improvement of automation and procedures scripts.

+ Demonstrated experience in analyzing and supporting cloud infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services.

+ Demonstrated experience monitoring system performance and recommending corrective action.

+ Demonstrated experience documenting cloud environment and maintaining the documentation.

+ Demonstrated experience with infrastructure-as-code software such as Terraform or Ansible.

+ Demonstrated experience with scripting languages such as Python.

+ Demonstrated experience with Linux or Linux Administration.

+ Demonstrated experience with software version control management such as GitHub.

+ Demonstrated experience with application build pipelines such as Jenkins.

+ AWS Certification or other relevant certifications.

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED** :

+ Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

+ Experience: 15+ years

+ Location: Herndon, VA, on customer site

+ Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph

The likely salary range for this position is $161,158 - $206,645. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
