    Aveanna Healthcareis seeking a dedicated and compassionateSpeech Language Pathologist (SLP)to provide professional, goal-oriented therapy services to our pediatric clients in aclinic-based setting.

     

    OurPediatric Day Health Care Centers (PDHC)are bright, cheerful spaces designed especially for children with complex medical needs. We provide a safe, nurturing environment where kids up to age eight receive skilled care and therapies — all while playing, learning, and interacting with their peers.

    •Position Details

    •Status:PRN / Part-Time

    •Schedule:Monday – Friday,Daytime Only

    • *No nights. No weekends. No holidays!

    •What You’ll Do

     

    As a key member of our clinical team, you’ll play an essential role in helping children develop communication, language, and swallowing skills.

     

    + Providespeech and language therapy servicesto pediatric clients in alignment with individualized goals.

    + Conductevaluations and assessmentsto determine treatment needs and progress.

    + Develop and implementpersonalized treatment plansthat inspire growth and confidence.

    + Collaborate with theinterdisciplinary care team, including nurses, therapists, and families.

    + Document sessions, goals, and outcomes accurately and timely.

    + Promote afun, supportive, and positive therapy experiencefor every child.

    •Qualifications

    + Meets qualifications as established byASHAor equivalent professional organization.

    + Licensed to practice Speech Therapyin the state of Florida.

    + Meets educational and experience requirements for aCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)in speech pathology or audiology from theAmerican Speech-Language-Hearing Association— or currently completing supervised experience toward certification.

    + Valid, unexpired Driver’s License.

    + Pediatric rehabilitative experience preferred, but not required — we’ll help you grow!
