    Overview

     

    TITLE: Kettle Worker Driver - Temporary/ Seasonal Position (November to December)

     

    REPORTS TO: Corps Officer

     

    SALARY: $15 per hour, non-exempt

     

    SCHEDULE Tuesday to Saturday; available shifts 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. & 4-8pm (Flexible Hours);

     

    Beginning: (November 17, 2025) Ending: (December 24, 2025)

     

    FUNCTION:The driver will assist the Kettle Coordinator by assuring that kettles, equipment, workers and volunteers are set up as needed at their assigned kettle locations in a timely fashion.

    Responsibilities

    *Set up and break down stands at kettle locations.

    *Equipment drop offs and pick ups for all assigned locations.

    * Picking up and dropping off meal allowance workers.

    *Provide support and breaks for meal allowance workers.

    * Performs related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    * Diploma or GED required

    *Valid Driver’s License and good driving record required

    *Good communications skills

    *Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.

    *Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by Delaware’s Beau Biden Law based on information found on the SBI and FBI Criminal Record Checks.
