Job Description
Join a dynamic team as a Transportation Specialist where you will play a pivotal role in resolving driver and carrier issues related to daily freight movements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on transportation partners and customers by ensuring timely shipment deliveries.
Responsibilities
+ Provide outstanding carrier and driver experience in a contact center environment through research, problem-solving, and setting appropriate expectations.
+ Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adhere to assigned schedules.
+ Detect potential system failures in the pickup, transport, or delivery of customer loads.
+ Make outbound calls to investigate potential or current failures discovered in the systems.
+ Support workload surges and weather-related operations, including significant overtime during high-volume peaks.
+ Utilize internal systems to collect data from multiple sources for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate insights effectively across Transportation Operations Management, Amazon Freight Partners, and Fleet.
+ Assist field teams with driver assignment, load acceptance, and driver/equipment availability.
Essential Skills
+ Call Center experience required, with the ability to make 50-60 calls per day.
+ Strong aptitude for problem-solving in unscripted situations.
+ Excellent critical thinking and de-escalation skills.
+ Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
+ Experience in a performance-driven and metrics-driven role.
+ Self-sufficiency and adaptability to changing rules and processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 1+ year of call center experience preferred.
+ Experience in collections, insurance, claims, or investigations is advantageous.
+ Background in logistics or transportation industry is desirable.
+ Agility and openness to change in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
This is an onsite, in-office position with hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm MST, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime on Saturday or Sunday. The role includes a comprehensive two-week training program consisting of one week of classroom training and one week of mentorship.

This is a Contract position based out of Tempe, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
