    Job Title: Administrative AssistantJob Description

     

    We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our operations by managing and processing manifests, quality checking data, and entering information into our systems, including SharePoint, One Drive, and Google Sheets. The role involves scanning and packaging documents for dispatch to our corporate office, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage and process manifests from start to finish, including quality checking data.

    + Enter accurate information into systems such as SharePoint, One Drive, and Google Sheets.

    + Scan and package documents for dispatch to the corporate office.

    + Attend safety meetings and perform light dispatching duties on Saturdays.

    + File and organize documents systematically.

    + Answer drivers' questions and provide customer service via email.

    + Work from a daily task list to ensure all responsibilities are met.

    + Handle a workload based on the number of manifests received each day, typically 6-10 manifests.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

    + High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

    + Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, One Drive, and SharePoint.

    + Experience in administrative support, data entry, and filing.

    + Excellent communication skills and a self-starter attitude.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a fast-paced work environment.

    + Background in trucking or dispatching is a plus.

    + Experience in retail or office management is beneficial.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Work Environment

    This position primarily involves working in the office, with occasional duties in the lot interacting with drivers. The role requires flexibility, with a typical shift from Monday to Saturday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, totaling 32 hours a week. Some Saturdays may require only a half-day. You will be part of a small, supportive team in a family-oriented, woman-owned company that operates seven days a week, including holidays. The office includes amenities such as bathrooms and a break room.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, Oregon.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
