• Collections Representative

    TEKsystems (Springfield, MO)


    We are seeking a motivated and persistent Collections Representative to support our team in Springfield, Missouri. This role serves as a critical link between insurance claims (health, workers’ comp, etc.) and the law firms processing those cases. You will be responsible for collecting on outstanding invoices by engaging directly with law firms, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders.

    Placement type: 2 Month Contract

    Description

    + Make 3–10 outbound B2B collection calls daily to law firms, claims managers, and insurance adjusters.

    + Follow up persistently every 2 days using provided scripts and email templates, while adapting communication based on account responses.

    + Ask targeted questions to confirm payment details (e.g., check number, amount, mailing date, or correct point of contact).

    + Conduct detailed invoice research and send approximately 20 follow-up emails daily with account-specific information.

    + Track and manage account activity using Excel-based tools.

    + Handle a portfolio of accounts, with more experienced reps assigned to higher-value accounts and others managing higher volumes of smaller accounts.

    + Meet KPIs based on activity levels rather than total collections.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
