• Data Center Technician (Entry Level)

    Job Summary

    We are seeking motivated Entry-Level Data Center Technicians to join our team in Mt. Pleasant, WI. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates coming out of fiber optic, data center, or technical training programs. Technicians will support GPU cluster deployments and data center operations across multiple shifts. Also open to individuals that have some experience within Data Centers and are looking for advancement.

    Shifts

    A Side Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, & Every other Wednesday (6 AM - 6 PM)

    A Side Nights: Same days as above (6 PM - 6 AM)

    B Side Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Every other Wednesday (6 AM - 6 PM)

    B Side Nights: Same days as above (6 PM - 6 AM)

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with moving and installing servers and switches.

    • Inspect equipment for damage and assist in unboxing and prepping servers.

    • Cable servers and switches according to wire maps and standards.

    • Support network admins with cabling and connectivity checks.

    • Install components such as NICs, drives, and memory.

    • Audit servers and consumables.

    • Troubleshoot basic server issues and assist with break-fix tasks.

    • Deploy and configure GPUs in servers.

    • Manage tickets using ITSM tools.

    • Install and label copper and fiber infrastructures.

    • Handle and install optical modules (SFPs, QSFPs).

    • Scope and clean fiber connectors (SC, LC, MPO).

    • Rack and stack equipment and patch cables.

    • Document progress using MS Office and digital photos.

    • Ensure compliance with safety and data center standards.

    Preferred Certifications

    • CompTIA A+ or equivalent experience

    • CompTIA Server+ or equivalent experience

    • CCENT or equivalent experience

    • Windows OS experience

    • CCNA certification preferred

    • MCP/MSCE certification preferred

    Skills from training programs:

    • Data center operations

    • Deployment and cabling

    • Fiber optic cable handling

    • Rack and stack equipment

    • Troubleshooting hardware

    • Cat6 and Cat5 cabling

    • GPU installation and configuration

     

    Onsite in Mt. Pleasant, WI -Seeking a team based out of the South Eastern Wisconsin area who will be focused on GPU cluster deployments within MKE 03 and 04, Mt Pleasant, WI. Multiple resources across all 4 core MSFT shifts (A/B/Days/Nights) on a 3x4x12 schedule

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.80/hr.
