Job Title: Shipping & Logistics Coordinator Department: Logistics Location: Onsite, 160 Elmgrove Park, Rochester, NYHours Per Week: 40Schedule: Days, Monday – Friday
SUMMARY The Shipping & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the tracking and execution of specimen shipments. This position will pack and ship in accordance to IATA regulations. The Shipping & Logistics Coordinator will work closely with the clinical trials specimen management shipping team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages to intended sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Shipping of UN3373 Biological Substances Cat B (specimens) to investigator sites, referral laboratories and inter company (ACM) laboratories Pack specimens in accordance to IATA regulations
+ Creation of shipping documentation for all shipments (Domestic & International)
+ Setup shipping container (label, dry ice, courier label, etc.)
+ QC samples to shipping container
+ Ensuring accurate dispatch of all CTSM Shipments
+ Inventory management of shipping supplies and work with procurement for ordering
+ Create and review all relevant shipping documentation for both domestic and international shipments
+ Ensuring all shipments are adequately monitored with courier
+ Liaise with Project Management, Clinical Trials Administrators and CTSM for shipment updates
+ Handle day-to-day queries that may arise both internal/external
+ Assist other areas of logistics where required
+ Responsible for ensuring that all the above processes are performed in accordance with IATA protocol
+ Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ BS degree or 1 year experience in shipping, logistics or supply chain
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Clinical Trials Specimen Management Shipping Experience
+ BS degree in supply chain or logistics preferred
REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
+ IATA Certification within 30 days of hire

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
