Job Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing the strategic planning, administration, and optimization of the agency’s revenue operations.

2. Ensures effective revenue collection, compliance with applicable laws and policies, accurate forecasting, and the implementation of fiscal strategies that support the financial health of the agency.

3. Ensure that the operating account has funds required for all accounts payable.

4. Transfer revenue collections to the treasury timely and reconcile to the General Ledger.

5. Oversee all General Ledger and bank accounts about Revenue and ensure that they are reconciled.

Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

1. Strong knowledge of governmental revenue sources

2. Proficient in financial software systems and Microsoft Excel

3. Ability to analyze complex financial data and convey findings clearly

4. Skilled in staff supervision, team leadership, and interdepartmental coordination

5. Excellent communication skills.

Bachelor's degree in accounting and four (4) years of professional accounting job-related experience, which includes two (2) years in a managerial or supervisory role; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Mgr, Accounting (FIM010) or position equivalent.
